Hey ya’ll and welcome to my blog! I’m a 19-year-old student at the University of Virginia, but I was born and raised in Houston, Texas. I’m a lover of good music, good friends, and good eats.
So the concept of my blog is tackling my food board on Pinterest. I love Pinterest, I really do. I think it’s a great way to organize ideas, recipes, beauty advice, bucket lists, etc. But how many people actually do all the pins of their boards? I love my fashion board, but I’m not going to go out and buy all the wonderful clothes I pinned. Same with my travel board: I’m a broke college student that won’t have the time or money to travel, at least not for another 3-5 years! But there is one thing you really can make into reality on Pinterest: food.
So this summer I’ll unfortunately be staying at home and working (I did not want to spend the summer in the hot hot heat of Texas), but I decided this could be a blessing in disguise. Next year I’ll be living in a apartment, and I do not want to be relying on the dining halls for food. Plus it’s cheaper and healthier to cook for yourself. Not to mention it’s an incredibly practical skill. So I am determined to learn to cook this summer. But, I decided to kick it up a notch: cook every pin on my food board on Pinterest. Yes, all 200 of them (and going up). Well, at least the reasonable ones.
So this blog will take you through my journey to conquer Pinterest. Enjoy!
